Earlier this year, Samsung introduced the Galaxy S24 series with Galaxy AI, a collection of AI-powered tools and capabilities for carrying out daily tasks and boosting productivity. In recent months, OnePlus and Google have announced new tools for their smartphones, joining the AI bandwagon. It appears that Chinese smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi is working on AI functions that could be included in future models of its devices. According to reports, the business has begun internal testing of these AI functions for the Xiaomi 14 series. There are now three models in the flagship lineup: the Xiaomi 14, Xiaomi 14 Pro, and Xiaomi 14 Ultra.
AI Treasure Chest
According to GizmoChina, which cites insiders, Xiaomi has begun internal testing of the “AI Treasure Chest” feature for the Xiaomi 14 series. Reportedly, the Xiaomi Al Treasure Chest is an assortment of “hundreds of” artificial intelligence capabilities intended to improve the Xiaomi 14 lineup’s user experience. According to reports, the “AI Surprise Wallpaper” feature is part of the alleged AI suite. It is anticipated that this capability will launch soon.
It is said that internal testing will occur from April 18 until August 2. According to the report, 40,000 spots were left for internal testing and only 78 persons were reportedly registered for the feature at the time the corporation disclosed the information to the media.
According to the source, the brand’s goal with the “AI Treasure Chest” is reportedly to offer innovative solutions by combining several Al technologies. It has been claimed that Xiaomi is taking user comments via its official feedback channel regarding the features of the 14 series smartphones.
The initial pricing of Rs. 69,999 and Rs. 99,999 for the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Ultra, respectively, makes them already accessible in India. But outside of China, the Xiaomi 14 Pro never found a home in international markets.
With its Android 14-based HyperOS UI, the newest Xiaomi 14 series is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. They have 120Hz dynamic refresh rate LTPO AMOLED displays that can achieve 2K resolution. The phones also include a rear camera configuration customized for Leica, which supports 90W wired charging.
